About Doug Brown

Doug Brown was named to his current position at IBM as Vice President of Marketing for Smarter Computing and for the Power Systems and System z brands in July, 2010. Previously, Doug spent twelve years in IBM’s Software Group where he held several marketing leadership positions including global leadership for the Tivoli brand. Doug joined IBM in 1980 as a systems engineer in Richmond, Virginia. Prior to IBM, he served three years as a lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
